A complete introduction to hand-building ceramics, from raw clay to finished and fired pieces.

Over six sessions of 2h30, you'll work on a personal project of your choosing — a set of cups, bowls, dishes, or something else entirely. We start with a conversation about what you want to make, build a plan, and spend six weeks bringing it to life. You'll learn all the core hand-building techniques and experience the full process from raw clay to finished, fired pieces.

With only 2 students, this is as close to private tuition as it gets — and if a date doesn't work for you, we'll work around it.

• Hands-on guidance throughout 
• Bisque and glaze firing 
• Finished pieces ready for pickup at the end of the course

• Session dates: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & July 7
• Time: 6–8:30pm (flexible based on the group)
• Location: Arlington, VA home studio (address shared on booking)
